Final installation piece for project on Language and Art

Ink on tracing paper, installation in a stairwell, 6 x 0.3 metres (approx.)

In this project I investigated language and art by collecting poetry, literature and song lyrics and arranging them in patterns down the length of the fragile paper. This explored sentimentality and memory, with treasured fragments of language becoming mechanical looking lines from a distance.
