Aert Workshops are for anyone eager to explore their creativity and respond to nature in meaningful ways.
Offering inclusive opportunities for individuals, groups and communities to develop drawing skills, Aert brings together varied drawing practices with creative exploration of environment. By participating in a Aert workshop, you will learn new skills, expand your creative practice, and access a welcoming and enjoyable social experience.
Inspired by the Shetland landscape, Aert Workshops takes its name from its locality - in Shetland dialect ‘aert’ means earth.

Bespoke Workshops
If you’re an organisation, group or business who wishes to engage your audience, service users or employees in new ways, a drawing workshop could be what you’re looking for! I can create an Aert activity that fit your budget, audience, timescale and delivery method. Sessions can also be tailored to complement your existing activities. They can be facilitated ‘as a package’, or I can work closely with you to develop ideas in collaboration. Drawing sessions encourage a wide range of skills and benefits, including team and community building, relaxation, and awareness. Quality materials to suit a range of drawing experience are included as part of many workshops, sourced as responsibly as possible. Please get in touch.
